BOLD HEADLINE: OAG Seeking Attorneys to Join Healthcare Program Enforcement Division
The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) in Texas is seeking qualified attorneys or individuals who have taken or will be taking the Texas state bar exam to join their Healthcare Program Enforcement Division. This position offers the opportunity to engage in exciting and meaningful work, litigating whistleblower lawsuits under the Texas Healthcare Program Fraud Prevention Act.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
- Collect, compile, and analyze documents and information - Assist with planning, developing, coordinating, and administering research projects - Coordinate, assemble, and prepare evidence, exhibits, and documents for legal proceedings - Research and analyze legal sources - Prepare legal documents - Interact with potential witnesses and representatives of other state agencies - Maintain relevant knowledge and attend work regularly - Ensure security and confidentiality of sensitive information - Comply with agency policies and procedures
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduation from an accredited law school with a Juris Doctor degree - Knowledge of legal principles, practices, and proceedings - Ability to prepare legal documents and interpret laws, rules, and regulations - Skill in handling multiple tasks and exercising sound judgment - Ability to work cooperatively with others and provide excellent customer service - Must be able to work in person at assigned OAG location
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using electronic document review platforms and programs - Previous experience in legal work
